I have a wide range of skills with film and animation. I have a range of skills and experience in Adobe Premier and Photoshop with editing video and images, but my main skills and achievements are with stop motion animation especially Lego Stop Motion Animations. I have been doing Lego Stop Motion films since 2009 and every film I have made has improved my animation and editing skills to make the films better and more industry looking, I still feel that I need to improve.
My main achievements again are in making stop motion animation films. I have made many films
over the years manly concentrating on Lego Stop Motion Film. For my BTEC Art I made a 7 minutes long Lego Animation about Zombies, it took me about 5 months to plan, shoot and edit.
I have a wide range of experience with Lego Stop Motion but would like to go into other forms of stop motion like Puppet Making and Clay Animation. I also have experience with Graphic Productions from designing and making my own board game and all the techniques and wording Graphic Designhers use. I am also interested in making live action films as well as animated films. From my work in Media I have a wide range of skills in using Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Premier.
In the future I would love to do stop motion animation for Aardman or Laika or even set up my own animation studio.
There is a great range of things that I need and would like to improve on. One of these is my skills with photoshop and after effects, I have a bit of experience and rough guide with the programs but not a lot. I would really like to improve my skills on the programs and learn how to do more professional and industry effects and edits with them. I have quite a bit of experience and skill with my animating but I feel I still really need to improve. I feel the way I light the sets and the figures is alright but isn't very professional looking. I also feel i need to improve the way I animate the figures I feel they need to be more fluent in the way the move and interact with each other. This is one of the things I really want yo improve and make the movement look industry stand. I also dont have many links withe animation community and Im hoping university will help me create and develop some of these links.
